Unity Child Placing Agency is
located in a subdivision northwest of Houston. The facility is
unlocked and is licensed for a total of (8) girls. The home is a large
1555 square foot 4 bedroom, 2 bath, 2 car garage brick home nestled
among other homes of similar size and structure. The homes within the
community are maintained and there is an active neighborhood
association enforcing Deed Restrictions. Upon entering the home, the
first bedroom on the left is used for office space. The largest
bedroom accommodates 4 residents and the two smaller bedrooms
accommodate 2 residents each for a total of 8 spaces. There is a full
kitchen and dining area with a large open spacious living area for
residents to socialize. There are no secluded areas available or
allowed within this program.
There is a large back yard with an
enclosed fence providing adequate space for residents to play. In the
common living area, residents can play board and computer games as
well as listen to music or watch television. Children are also
involved in recreational therapy activities on a weekly basis and the
majority of these activities occur at the nearby neighborhood pool.

residents to medical and dental appointments. Custodial staff
performing minor repairs within the scope of their duties and
expertise maintains the facility. Contracted workers perform major
